Kelly and I went to high school together, so it was so special to be such a huge part of her amazing day. Kelly and Dylan were married on a friend's property on the Sunshine Coast, and it was everything that your country property wedding dreams are made of.

Their love story started when they both attended a Cowboy and Indian themed party. Kelly was drawn to Dylan’s fun loving and warm personality and how attractive he was even with a trucker’s moustache cultivated especially for the party. Dylan initially noticed Kelly’s stunning red hair and tried to catch her eye for a dance. Kelly, not noticing the subtle hints, walked straight past him. Dylan finally got her attention and her hand for a dance… the rest is history!,

Kelly and Dylan both have a love for the countryside, animals, native trees and the Aussie landscape - so their friend's property complete with cows and a stunning backdrop at golden hour could not have been better suited to the couple. There was a beautiful Fig tree onsite which they used as a centrepiece for their ceremony. Dylan also spent hours stringing up fairy lights all throughout this Fig tree for Kelly - and, at last light, lit it up - a magical 'surprise' moment for all in attendance!

And how did they go planning such a bash during the pandemic?

"We organised our wedding during the height of the pandemic. I think some people thought we were crazy. We had no international guests, our venue was on large acreage and putting life on hold for the unknown didn’t sit right with us. We went into the wedding planning with the mentality of ‘what will be, will be’ and fortunately it was a seamless experience. As it turned out, dancing restrictions were relaxed the day of the wedding. Everything fell into place perfectly!"

Congratulations Dylan and Kelly!
