Connor’s marriage to Talia marked my third wedding for the North family, having photographed both of his sisters’ weddings, so it was a bit special for me to photograph another memorable occasion for this awesome family again. Even though the bushfires were raging on the Sunshine Coast at the time, and a few of their guests had to be moved into other accommodation the night before the wedding, Talia + Connor’s day could not have gone any more smoothly!

Talia spent the morning getting ready at the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort with her girls, choosing the stunning ROSA gown by Grace Loves Lace to be complimented by the natural earthy tones of MUA, Alarna Taylor. Connor and the boys got dressed in their suits while doing shots of Kraken poolside with his loyal dog, Dusty.

The ceremony was something of a beachside fairytale inside Noosa National Park, with guests seated in the shade of the trees while overlooking the ocean, and Talia + Connor saying “I do” in front of an incredible hanging macramé backdrop. While their guests then walked across the road to catch a boat (yes, a boat!) over to the reception venue for canapes and drinks, we enjoyed bridal portraits on the rocks within the national park and then drove to a friend’s property in Eumundi just in time for an incredible smoky, burnt sunset. I was laughing so hard this entire day at this group and their antics – there was a moment a certain groomsman threw a certain something at the bride while she was being held up by her bridesmaids – you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it!

The reception at Noosa Boathouse was equally stunning, with plenty of sentimental moments and lots of serious dance floor action. Congratulations Talia and Connor on such a beautiful day, and I wish the both of you (and Dusty too, of course) every happiness in the rest of your lives together.

TESTIMONIAL

"Finding a photographer can be tricky, but it was an easy decision for Connor and myself. We just had to have Elise photograph our wedding, as we had both seen her work and had heard nothing but amazing things about her and her photography. We both agreed that she would capture our special day better than anyone, and oh boy she did exactly that and so much more. She was so easy to work with and understood everything that we wanted.

My husband and I are a bit awkward in front of the camera haha, but Elise made us feel so comfortable and everything just flowed perfectly. In my opinion, waiting for your wedding photos is a bit nerving… but as soon as we opened our little photo package we were amazing of the quality, time, and effort that Elise had put into capturing and editing our photos, and we could not have been happier with the outcome. There was absolutely nothing to be nervous about, they were nothing short of perfection.

Her work is truly amazing and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! We are so thankful and are so glad that we made the decision to have Elise."
